Multnomah Falls, OR

We hiked in to our "primitive" campsite. When camping around others your pets should always be under control, so they went up and down the hill alot as we made camp.

The forest around Multnomah have miles of hiking trails. We find that walking with a pack in nature while requiring structure and discipline from them is the fastest and surest method to rehabilitation of behavior.

Rest breaks are an excellent time for bonding.

This was our goal for the day. We discovered that Jackson, our youngest and most high energy dog, was spooked by the roar of the falls. All the other visitors were also very excited with lots of noisy children, which spooked him further. We had to work with him alot to calm him down, but we insisted he adjust to it and trust our leadership. It was particularly important here, since the path walks behind the falls, and if we didn't keep him under control we would never have been able to continue on.

This is Multnomah Falls. It is one of the highest falls in the Pacific Northwest. Definitely worth the trip.
